You can delete your StayCharted account, or a single workspace, yourself. This page also covers the StayCharted AMT app for Android.
Delete your account
- Sign in at amt.staycharted.com.
- Open Profile from the account menu.
- Under Delete this account, choose Request deletion, add a note if you like, and confirm.
In the StayCharted AMT app, Settings → Delete my account opens the same Profile page.
We email you to confirm we've received the request. Deleting your account removes your login, your workspaces, everything you have uploaded, every model you have trained and the files we hold for you. It cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
If you belong to someone else's workspace as well, deleting your account removes you from it. Their workspace and its content stay, because they belong to its owner.
Delete one workspace
If you own a workspace, you can delete just that workspace. Sign in, open All workspaces from the account menu, and choose Delete beside the workspace. Its models, files, datasets and API keys are removed at once.
Can't sign in?
Email privacy@staycharted.com from the address on the account, and say you want it deleted.
Using an access code?
Someone who uses the app with an access code has no StayCharted account. To remove a code from your phone, open the app and go to Settings, choose the code, then Remove this code. Whoever gave you the code can also revoke it at any time.
What we keep
- Backups: deleted content leaves our backups within 35 days.
- Billing and tax records: kept for as long as the law requires, without your files.
- The record of the deletion: a workspace's name, billing history and the deletion entry in its activity log are kept for billing and accountability.
