StayCharted helps businesses build AI around their own knowledge, data, and decisions.
We’re building StayCharted and our first product, AI Model Trainer (AMT), in Austin, Texas.
AMT turns labeled text and images into private, business-specific models—without requiring model-training code or a machine learning team.
With AMT, teams can train models to categorize information, route requests, match records, standardize data, prioritize work, and sort images. They can test results against examples the model hasn’t seen, review uncertain predictions, and use their models through batch files or an API.

Why I Built StayCharted
I’m Manoj Mohandas, founder of StayCharted.
Before StayCharted, I was one of the co-founders of FileCloud, an enterprise file sharing and data governance company. I served as CRO with responsibility across sales, solutions engineering, business development, technology alliances, and revenue operations.
Building FileCloud taught our founding team a lot about how businesses adopt technology. One lesson stayed with me: the most valuable solutions are often those built around the specific way a business actually works.
I think AI is reaching a similar point.
There are incredibly capable general-purpose AI models available today. But many everyday business problems don’t require an AI that knows everything. They require AI that understands how your business does one particular thing.
Which customer request belongs to which team? How should a transaction be categorized? What type of product, case, document, or record is this? How has your company historically labeled this kind of data?
Businesses often already have hundreds or thousands of examples containing those answers. StayCharted is being built to make those examples useful.
