Readers looking for general text or image classification may have a narrower requirement: assign one of their approved categories to an item, then use that result in a system they already have.

A logistics team labels messages as Delivery Delay, Missing Paperwork, Damage Report or Quote Request. StayCharted can learn from reviewed message text and suggest a category for a new message.
Your workflow still decides what happens next: create a case, notify a dispatcher or ask a person to review. Reading a scanned document, extracting a shipment number and sending a quote are separate requirements; do not assume classification performs those steps.

How to test a replacement before switching
- Keep your labels. Export reviewed examples where permitted and document what each category means.
- Hold back a test set. Include rare categories, mixed-intent messages and recent wording changes. Avoid putting copies of the same example in training and testing.
- Compare the work left over. Count incorrect categories and items requiring review, not just overall accuracy.
- Test the connection. Confirm how results enter your existing system, including permissions and failures.
- Switch only after review. Retraining from examples is different from importing a trained model or automatically transferring workflows.

- Data-quality checks and personal-information masking before text training are available on every plan.

- Picture checks flag near-duplicates and potentially mislabeled examples. Location metadata is stripped from the copies used by the model; original uploads are retained unchanged until deletion.
StayCharted is a hosted service, with no on-premises application deployment or trained-model import. Standard workspace exports do not contain runnable models. Under Terms §6.3, an Owner can download a Dedicated model adapter after moving to a plan that no longer trains Dedicated models; running it elsewhere requires the exact base model and your own inference software.

Has Levity shut down?
This page does not claim that Levity has shut down. Its current public website presents logistics automation. A changed website or missing pricing page alone does not establish that a service is discontinued.
Can StayCharted replace an entire logistics automation platform?
No. StayCharted supplies categories and confidence scores. Your existing systems and integrations remain responsible for actions such as updating shipments, sending quotes or assigning work.
Can I start without labeled examples?
For a trained classifier, prepare examples with approved categories. You can use an assistant to help draft a taxonomy and a sample for human review. StayCharted’s grouping of unlabeled rows is a paid-plan feature; it does not remove the need to check labels.
